Terms of Service

Agreement

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of SpinoLens. By creating an account, joining a clinic organization, starting a subscription, or using the product, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the clinic or organization you represent.

Education-only product

SpinoLens is an education, visualization, and communication tool. It is not a medical device, electronic health record, clinical decision support system, diagnostic tool, treatment tool, or substitute for professional clinical judgment.

Clinics and providers are solely responsible for clinical interpretation, diagnosis, treatment decisions, patient consent, recordkeeping, and deciding whether SpinoLens is appropriate for a particular use.

Clinic responsibilities

• Use SpinoLens only through authorized clinic users and clinic-controlled accounts.
• Maintain appropriate patient consent, privacy, records, and communication practices.
• Do not use SpinoLens as the clinic's system of record for patient medical records.
• Send patient viewer links only through approved clinic communication channels.
• Do not place sensitive patient information in support messages, billing communications, or other non-clinical channels unless the clinic has determined that doing so is permitted.
• Ensure that exported reports, screenshots, downloads, or shared links are handled according to the clinic's policies and applicable law.

Accounts and access

Clinic users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their sign-in credentials and for activity under their accounts. Clinic organization administrators are responsible for managing team access and removing users who should no longer have access.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscriptions are managed through Stripe. Pricing, subscription terms, renewal dates, taxes, cancellation, and billing details may be displayed in the product or Stripe-hosted billing flows. Unless otherwise stated in writing, access to paid features requires an active clinic subscription.

Patient viewer links

Patient viewer links are bearer-token links. Anyone with a valid link may be able to access the associated patient viewer until the link expires or is revoked. Clinics are responsible for controlling distribution of patient links and sending them through appropriate channels.

SpinoLens may enforce rate limits, expiration periods, subscription checks, and other security controls for patient viewer links.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, subscription, rate-limit, or security controls.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Do not upload malicious code or content.
• Do not use SpinoLens to make unlawful, deceptive, or unsupported medical claims.
• Do not resell, sublicense, or provide third-party access except as permitted by the clinic subscription and organization features.

Intellectual property

SpinoLens, including its software, interface, branding, models, workflows, visual design, and documentation, is owned by SpinoLens or its licensors. Clinics retain responsibility for and rights in their own clinic branding and content submitted to the product.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SpinoLens is provided for education and visualization. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpinoLens disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpinoLens will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, clinical, medical, or patient-care damages arising from use of the product.

Changes

SpinoLens may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the product or on the website. Continued use after an update means the updated Terms apply.
